Green Kids Now, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity organization, which relies 100% on volunteers. There are many minds to inspire and many changes to make, in our mission for a cleaner and healthier planet. We need volunteers to join us to bring this awareness, and achieve our goal.

Green Kids Now, Inc. Board Member Commitments:
- Minimum 2 years commitment required to serve as a board member
- Must attend all board meetings
- Three board meetings in a year – around 2nd week of March, September, and December.
- Optional attendance for project and event specific meetings on as-needed basis
- Upon joining Green Kids Now, you must select a minimum of one area listed below to be the lead, and another area to be the co-lead:
- Community Organizations Outreach
- Forming partnerships with local community organizations
- Schools Outreach (public, private, charter, home schools, etc.)
- Forming partnerships with schools
- Events Planning and Organization
- Yearly events planning and organization
- General Fundraising
- Various forms of community donors outreach
- Grants Writing and Business Sponsors Fundraising
- Project specific grants and sponsors outreach from businesses and government
- Public Relations and Marketing
- Advertising, Social media, community outreach, and establishing the name of Green Kids Now organization
- Volunteer Recruitments
- Increasing the volunteer list through subscriptions
- Green Kids Conference Executive Committee
- Planning and Organizing our contentmain1 annual event, Green Kids Conference
- Community Organizations Outreach
- Within 2 months of joining Green Kids Now organization, you must submit a written outline of achievable goals and action plan to the President, which will be shared with the board.
- Report progress of your goals and action plan regularly to the President, as well as report during the board meetings.
Green Kids Now, Inc. Project Manager Commitments:
- Minimum 2 years commitment required
- Report progress to the board at the board meetings on as-needed basis
- As needed basis attend – Three board meetings in a year – around 2nd week of March, September, and December.
- Submit written outline of achievable goals and action plan to the President within two months of joining Green Kids Now, Inc.
- Attend project and event specific meetings
- Select at least one project to manage from the below list. (This is the current list of projects, as we get new opportunities we will be adding more projects as appropriate)
- Green Star School Program

- Events and Conference Exhibitor Assistance
- Recruit and manage both youth and adult volunteers for presenting at booth
- Community One Day Programs
- Tree Planting event
- Creek/Coastal Cleanup
- Park Maintenance
- Etc.

- Jr. Scientists and Innovators
- Environmental Arts Exhibit
- Exhibitors Outreach and sign-up
- General Organization – lunch, registrations, volunteer recruitment, etc.
- Advertising and Community Outreach
- Zero Waste Community Awareness Campaign
- Scheduling of meetings and Organizing community presentations and training days
- Science Research and Content Creation – recruiting and guiding youth
